Developed by a veterinarian, Magic Cushion® Hoof Packing helps soothe soreness and inflammation in the sole and frog associated with hoof concussion and everyday training. Its formula starts reducing hoof heat within one hour, with a significant reduction demonstrated for up to 24 hours. Suitable for shod and barefoot horses, it can be applied as needed or packed beneath shoes and pads for prolonged use.

Active ingredients: Turpentine 26.6%; iodine 0.06%.

Inactive ingredients: Natural leather fiber and rosin.

Thoroughly clean the sole and frog using a hoof pick and stiff brush. Wear disposable gloves and apply enough product to cover the sole and fill the grooves of the frog to a depth of approximately ½ inch (1.3 cm).

• Shod horses: Lower the hoof into sawdust to help keep the packing in place.
• Barefoot horses: Cover the sole with paper or plastic, then secure with a self-adhering hoof wrap.
• Under shoes and pads: Apply before the pad and shoe are nailed or glued into place.

Replace every 24–48 hours until the condition improves. Excess product can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.

Precautions: For external use on animals only. Combustible. Keep out of reach of children and other animals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to irritated skin or allow prolonged contact with the horse’s skin above the hoof. Discontinue use if excessive irritation develops.
